A quick question. I was reading though this article about security problems with Android systems:

Is this something I should be worried about? While I realise that this guy was just trying to drum up intrest in his security camp isn't is a bit irresponsible to just publish that kind of information? Or is this already commenly known?

As long as you don't install untrusted software, you should not worry. I would personally say that Android is absolutely safe. Nevertheless, a lot of people install hacked software. This causes a lot of damages.
