brand new tablet wont work!!

i dunno if im being stupid here but when i turn the tablet on the screen lights up but thats it....it does nothing....just a lit up screen...i dunno if its cus it needs to be fully charged or what but if anyone can help that'd be great

It could be a lot of things but, yes, all tablets need to be fully charged before you use them the first time. Try plugging it in until it is fully charaged (that will take a couple of hours) if you're still having the same issue afterwards with a completly white screen then you probably need to contact the store where you got the tablet.
