The wifi works fine in the start but gets disconnected after not being used for a while.
After it gets disconnected it doesnt seem to get connected back.
The device just keeps scanning and disconnecting.
can anyone help me out?

Hi Navin!
I don't have an Archos 43 myself but I did some asking around and apparently a lot of wifi connection issues are caused by the powersave feature on the device which automatically disconnects the wifi to save power under certian conditions. Try this: Go into settings> wireless and networks>wifi settings> and then longpress your wireless connection. You should get a menu which will let you disable you power save for your connection. Hope that helps!
