I finally figured out where the galaxy Nexus gets its name!

So I was reading the exellent Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep (Bladerunner) and it finally dawned on me where the Nexus devices get their name from! In the Book the Androids (also called Andys....hint hint hint) are the Nexus-6's the most advanced Androids on the planet.... I mean come on how much more obvious can it be!?!?!?

I'm impressed. I never thought to try to find out the roots of which a babe was chosen! That's a "fun fact" if I've ever heard one.

This is AWESOME. Im gonna write this on an AndroidPIT blog! Thansk for this! Now I know where my Nexus One and Galaxy Nexus got their names from!
