app failed to start after download and install

I have one app and one update that fail to run on the Kindle Fire.
it might be due to the lack of sd card storage. I have successfully installed other apps from the market. any suggestions?

Where did you get the apps from? If they're from the Amazon Market, they should run just fine. But as the Fire is running a heavily altered version of Android, if the apps are from the Google market they most likely wont run on the fire. Supposedly there are ways around this by rooting the device, but I've never tried.

So are the apps from the Google Market or the Amazon one?

It might be not supported to your device or your device might have no enough space to run the app. Check for these two issues. While downloading go for such apps which are compatible to your device.
