NextBook 2 android problems

What on earth kind of Android 2.0 version is this? I have gone to the android app site that was set up on this tablet and can only load a handfull of applications. Most of the time the apps will not parser, or if they do they are crap apps that are incomplete!! I have yet to find a weather app that works well. If I go to other android sites while on the tablet and try to download these apps, the app does not recognize my device. Do I need to go to an Android site specifically for Tablets??

Also, I would like to Root this tablet to load another operating system in, or does anyone know if Nextbook people have an upgrade that will help!!

As far as I know the Nextbook is similar to the Kindle Fire as it was only designed to work with apps sold from borders and not directly from the Google marketplace. While you might get some to work on the NExtbook, it does sound like you're going to have some general problems with a lot of the apps out there.

If you want to root your NextBook, there is a good forum at XDA about Rooting the NextBook 2 but if you haven't tried this before or have some serious technical chops I'd be very careful with this. Do you research before attempting a root and make sure its worth the risk. You could end up bricking your NextBook.
