The LG G2x, it had serviced me well, although it isn't the best of the best, its a good tegra 2 that lasts forever! Wish I had a Galaxy S3 when it comes out though.

Yeah I was reallying hoping that they would announce the Galaxy S3 at the CES :( It's the main reason I'm holding off buying a new phone right now. I want to see what the next generation can do.

I love my Galaxy Note!
It has the biggest screen so surfing the internet is no problem and you haven't to zoom on every site.
And the Note is very fast too.
But it isn't cheap.
But no problem for me, I won it from a competition of androidpit Germany :D

I've had my Xperia Arc for 6 months and can't fault it. Previously, I've owned an x10, wildfire S, nexus s, and a g1 and (at the time I owned them) thought they were great too though, so generally it's the android o/s I love. Except the naming process, telling people your phone ran donut but you wanted to upgrade to eclair or froyo got strange reactions from non-android owners.

I have the same problem but that's why I love Ice Cream Sandwich. Not only is it the best looking UI on the planet, but finally there is a good abbreviation for an Android distribution. I always say ICS instead of the full mouthful. Kind of helps people take be serious. :D

I think, that you can decide witch smartphone you want to buy, if there are some pictures of the phones.
Maybe the new galaxy s3 is very ugly.

I really like it too, but hardware wise, it wasnt enough of an upgrade for me to consider buying. Cant wait to see the next Nexus Phone!

Nah..if you follow instructions its actually quite easy to root. XDA developers have sooooo much info and walkthroughs on how to do it. You should check it out! Heres the link for your device:

I see there is a CM9 build already up (Ice cream sandwich without touchwiz).

Really depends on your device. Did it come with an unlocked bootloader? Also, many devices can be unrooted, so that when you give it back for repair its running the stock version that came with your device.
