cant download skype

i tried to download skype. but it keep says but username not related to anroid phone. acctually i have a tablet not a phone.
i have registered in android pit with my gmail account and i used same account to download
please help

Are you loging in with the mobile site or with the internet site?
Do you have the app installed and are you using it to access AndroidPIT? If not download the app and log in normally and then try to download the app. Also double check in the settings that you are signing in with the right account. Just click the menu button when you are in the App Center app and then click on login settings to make sure that you are loging in with the right account. If the account is correct click on show system information to make sure the app has the correct system settings for your device.

Once you've done all that try to download the app again and if it doesn't work let me know and we'll figure out where to go from there.

i cant download skype either,or anything else from android market. keep getting the error msg that there is no mobile device attached to this google account. any advice would be great ;)

yes i have signed into my existing email account, yet no success. it says there is no device attached to my email account. any suggestions?

I m sign in to gmail and i m sure i m in correct account.
I can go until page download skype. but after that it says my device is not compilable. But i have Anroid 2.3 with 4GB space.
Then I download skype from alternative website. but after i sign in skype throwing me out by it selves. So when I click again skype sign in screen it asking me again to sign back. this happened every single time.

please please help

You might be not having enough RAM to download the skype . So , try to remove the unwanted apps from the phone. Now you can check for download again. I think it may prove helpful to you.
