Looking for two things - Sponsors/partners & Data entry for my App "The Hitch Hikers Guide To".
The App:
This is a configurable guide to all tourist and entertainment information in a City/Location. You download the (free) app and then select the locality you want information on. Right now there is one "data pack" - for Brisbane, Australia.
Data Entry:
Looking for people who want to earn some pin money doing data entry for my app "The Hitch Hikers Guide To".
If not you, then maybe your partner or mother
In the first instance I am looking for data entry for:
Australia:
The Gold Coast, Cairns, The Sunshine Coast, Capricornia, The Top End, North Coast NSW, Sydney, Melbourne, Tasmania, Perth, Adelaide.
+ Overseas locations.
(English language, tourist relevant info only)
Each entry - work consists of:
1) Google a category in the given location. (For example: "Sydney Accommodation Self cater")
2) Select a result entry - collect company name, contact phone, address, email address and a couple of sentences of descriptive text.
3) input data into website form.
4) Check output on App. Fix up if necessary.
5) = AU $1
Payment made by Paypal only. Preference given to persons familiar with/living in the location.
Sponsors/Partners
The App will be successful if and when people immediately think "The Hitch Hikers Guide To.." when they are planning a holiday or want dynamic entertainment information for the locality they are in.
The Application aims to be the definitive source of all Tourist and Entertainment data for the locality. The data is updateable in almost real-time, so that advertisers can include "specials" and changes as often as they like. The backend is PHP/Mysql and provides advertisers with a GUI to maintain their data. The data entry (above) is in order to get a base-load of data for each target location. Once a location has sufficient data to make the App a worthwhile source of information and has a significant user-base, then the second phase will kick in - obtaining paying advertisers.
I am looking for Sponsors/partners for Locations.
The Sponsor/partner will have the responsibility for growing the "data pack" for the location (the information) - by performing data-entry and or by selling advertising (where the advertisers do their own data-entry), and maintaining that data.
They will have an exclusive 18 month period where all income derived from that Location will be accrue to them, after which they will have options on future rights.
