Reminder ring

Please, let me know why the ring in my calendar doesn't turn on? Although I set the time when I want the reminder to ring, it doesn't turn on at that time. There is only some sound immediately when I set the time. What should I do in order to make it work? Could that be a defect in the phone itself? My phone is HTC Cha Cha. Thank you!

Hmm..thats a weird one. Have you checked your media sound settings to verify they are turned on?

Reminder option is very usefull to my daily life.
