can't download books.

I live in the US.
But can't download books from the market. It says that purchases are not available in your country at this time.
Is it because I use my German credit card? I can buy apps though....

Thats really odd. Have you tried with an American credit card? Im from the US but live in Berlin, and its still not possible to purchase books here either.

First of all, I don't have an American credit card. I'm from germany and live here only temporary.
2nd. I had another Gmail account, idk why. I tried to buy it with that, it told me to give my credit card data. So i did. Said I live in the US and all that. It accepted it i clicked buy and apparently it accepted it.. But it didn't download it. And now I just have the option"open" and not buying anymore. But when I click open, it opens the sample..
No refund or anything. If they charge me 10 bucks now imma be so pissed!

Ok since apparently no one can help me with this, how can I switch from the American market to the german market?

Go to the market and download an app called Market Enabler.

It can basically spoof your carrier and make it look like your in another country. Its pretty useful for using the market to its full potential.

The same as me bro. You have to wait until Google Books goes international. Its the same for Google music as well.
