Internet Connection Sharing created on Feb 8, 2012 7:47:48 PM
Have the original Google G1. No longer on the TMobile plan and I want to use it just for WiFi at home. Resetting the phone has made many unexpected changes to the settings... especially the wireless settings. In its place I find empty values for the following parameters:
-DATA ROAMING -USE ONLY 2G NETWORKS - NETWORK OPERATORS - ACCESS POINT NAMES The Access Point Names would be the most apparent choice to start where I find the additional settings: Name APN PROXY PORT USERNAME PASSWORD SERVER MMSC MMS PROXY MCC APN TYPE As of this writing, the phone has no WiFi as it did a few days ago. Seeking to find a way to access the internet through my windows 7. Even with internet connection sharing not sure how to proceed. Hoping to connect with someone who has gone this route before. Guidance sought |

That is WEIRD. Is your phone rooted? All this happened after doing a factory reset on the device?
