Make sure your data connection (LTE or 3G) is turned on or wifi if you use that to connect to the internet. The device is just telling you that it can't connect to the net. That's all!

Then I would call your cell company. If you can still connect to the web normally with your phone it sounds like it's a problem on their end. Where are you in this big crazy world of ours and what company do you use?

Hmm I was asking to find out if you were using an international phone... if you got the phone from the US then it should just work with AT&T just fine... strange. I'd call them and ask what they suggest as it sound like it might be a carrier issue! I had something similar once as I got a backberry in the US where Im from and then had issues updating it in Germany (where I live now) but if its a US phone in the US there shouldn't be an issue with that.

Strangely some phones, and service providers use "server not available" when they do not have a current upgrade. This is to say, they turn the upgrade Servers on for the duration of an upgrade window. 3 months.. I know this sounds wierd, but Motorola is famous for this and Vodafone has done this in the past too...
So, the phone or service provider does not have a current server available with an update for your phone--- no big deal... Try and get the update on the net. Often there is an update via ROM CM7 / CM) or other where a leak has been modified.. Some providers are just horrible when it comes to upgrades and take forever. Like LG. |
