LG Optimus 3D — LG OPTIMUS 3D if turned off..wont restart..

pls help me with my LG OPTIMUS 3D phone...everything is fine but if turned off.....it wont restart unless i plug-in the wall charger....

Perhaps it is out of batteries? Needs to be charged?

Yeah it just sounds like the battery drained out. You do need to keep them charaging when you're not using them. Most smartphones have to be recharged around once a day or every other day at the latest.

LG was having a black-out problem with 2.2 roms.. Deep Sleep Mode from Hell ! My wife had this issue on her Optimus G2X. She would set the thing down and come and hour later and it would be in black-out mode. The batteries were fine only the OS shut down and woulsd not come back up. She would have to take the battery out and put it back in and reboot.

LG fixed this issue in 2.3.3 and later... I bet you are using an older ROM still.

the battery is not drained...i charge them at least once a day...its just that when i switch it off or restart the phone...i wont turn on by pressing the power button....unless it is plugged-in to the wall charger..

Exactly what I said. Which firmware version are you running?? stay cool, we can resolve this ....

Go to settings--- about phone --- and I bet you are running 2.2

absolutely right chris....my phone runs 2.2.2 version.

OK, you will need to update to 2.3.4 this will resolve your issue.

Updating a ROM is not that hard. Just follow the instructions and good luck.

chris..i have tried following the link..and still nothing happened...

when the instruction says..press and hold volume up then insert the USB...then relase volume up....

it says it should start the update process and the phone should boot up..but it didnt...:-(

sounds like im having the same trouble, mines on the 2.2 version and it dont charge properly, how do i getthe 2.3 software? please someone help
