HTC Desire HD — Does the HTC Desire have 3G problems in the UK?

I live in a city in the south east of Kent, UK. Would the HTC Desire have good 3G coverage on O2? I have done a coverage look, on the O2 website and it says high for my area.
Would I have 3G problems as I have heard on many forums about 3G going after a couple of days after unpackaging the phone? Thanks : )

Unfortunately, I dont live in the UK and cant really comment. Anyone live in that area that can give some feedback on UK (Kent) 3G coverage?

According to some users, the DHD could have a better antenna and some have even posted how to deal with it. That said, mine don't seem to suffer much really since it gives me similar coverage as my S/E Xperia.
