I had a look on XDA, but unless I overlooked it, I cant find any ROMS for that particular device

the eeepc image offered at the android-x86 project page works on the mini 1012:
http://android-x86.googlecode.com/files/android-x86-4.0-RC1-eeepc.iso The only thing I've found so far that doesn't work is wifi. Dell offers an ubuntu moblin image for this mini; I'm looking into the possibility of extracting and using the wifi driver from it, but one way or the other I will have wifi working -- this is the fastest I've ever seen this POS move!
