Hi. i am having a problem on connecting android phone to pc using bluetooth
can anyone help me?
its hard for me to understand the tutorial on android developer forum(bluetooth chat)
because the tutorial is for 2 mobile phone
in my case. i will send a message from phone to PC using bluetooth

i have samsung gt553 ( i dont know what exactly the name of the unit)
and the android version is android 2.1

i can only turn on and discover the available devices

but i am having to connect it to a bluetooth dongle device

I cant seem to find that particular phone. Can you send a link to it? Im not familiar with it and want to make sure Im looking at the right device.

First off, you're PC definitely has Bluetooth right? Not all of them do. If it does, go into your phone and turn on Bluetooth, and make sure its also on on your PC. Then go into Bluetooth settings on your phone and make your phone visible. I would set the time for at least 5 minutes visible.

Now try to see if your PC can see the phone or vice versa, and let me know how it goes.
