How to open, run, view code of a download Android project sample

Hello Everyone,

I am new with Android; I just learn to create my first android application. I would like to see some android application sample to get some more idea about android app. I've download some samples from the web but I don't know how to open, run or view code. The unzip folder is look like this:
folder:
.setting
bin
gen
res
src
file:
.classpath
.project
AndroidManifest
default.properties

In Eclipse, there is a New for Project and Open for file only or Open Project under Project menu but it is dim. I really like to see the code from this project or run it to see what happen.
Please help, if anyone have an experience with this proplem.
