Samsung Galaxy S — SMS Messages using contact names in the notifications

When I get notified of a message, my phone will use my notification sound along with telling me the contact name. How do I turn off the notification using the contact name as part of the notification? I also have the same behavior with my ringtone for all calls received.

I don't actually think this is possible
