We recently created this SIMPLE APP to remind you of an UNREAD SMS / MMS on your Android Phone.
The INTERFACE is EASY to USE and SMS MATE POP SCREEN will activate at one minute of an UNREAD SMS.
You can CHOOSE the SETTINGS of when and how often you would like to be REMINDED of an unread SMS.
Our POP WINDOW LOOKS SMART on any phone and will activate on the first REMINDER.
THIS APP IS *FREE* to all Android users on GooglePlay
It's not the MOST EXCITING APP, however, we hope you find SMS MATE VERY USEFUL.

This is a great tool if you don't want to move away from the stock messaging app. otherwise, other sms app replacements already have this feature built in

It is a great tool ... we designed SMS MATE to be simple.
SMS Mate does exactly what it is designed to do, REMIND you of an UNREAD SMS - nothing more ... nothing less.
We desired to remove unecessary functions and keep the interface and user preferences easy.
SMS Mate operates Global on many smart phones, v2.1 older smart phones and newer smart phones 4.1 and above.

That's great to know. At the very least, it will have less of a memory imprint and would be pretty easy to debug for yourselves

Yes, the intention is to use less memory imprint on the older phones 2.1 & 2.2 for example. We want a pleasant user experience without all the extra stuff you don't need, taking up memory and slowing your phones performance. We want something reliable for everyone, every download, older smart phones too. We ultimately want to give users what manufacturing never did ... UNREAD SMS ALERTS on ANDROID.
