4.0.4 messaging questions

I have a lucid with the new ice cream sandwich software 4.0.4 i believe and in my messageing i have little blue 1 one on my messages right above the name of that thread and also a red triangle which usually mean unsent messages but theres no umsent messages in the thread. If you could answer what these symbols means itd be helpful.

Hi, the little (1) tends to mean a message is waiting for you to read. The triangle does mean that a message was unsent... Perhaps the message was unsent and eventually re-sent and messenger did not reset itself.

Try and reset it and see if the triangle disappears.
