HTC ChaCha — Keyboard issue

Everytime I try and type a letter, other letters come up too.
It's happened more than once, but after a quick reset it usually goes back to normal... not this time!
Everytime I type 'w' it puts a 'r' behind it, everytime I try press 'home' it presses a '?', everytime i press space, an 'x' appears, a backspace changes to enter... and so on. You get the picture. How do i turn this off?!
