HTC One V — Can't view messages

I can't view any messages on my HTC One V. I've been using the phone for 2 months without any problems before this.
Whenever i click on a message thread, it displays "loading" and doesn't load even after half and hour.

Try restarting your phone, in most of the cases such issues are resolved with a restart.
