Trouble using bluetooth

Hello!

I am a newbie to java and android development. I am currently working on a bluetooth project, and i have come across some problems. What i basically want to do is connect to an external bluetooth module and send bits of data. So far i have been able to turn on and off the bluetooth from within the app. I have also been able to get a list of paired devices in a list view. Now, i am trying to connect to the a the device the user taps on the the list view and i cant seem to get that working.. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Please help anyone? Im really stuck on this.
