The main problem I was having is "being unable to download any applications from Google play" as I couldn't find the Google play app installed. On the other side, whenever I try to add my Google account to 'Account and Sync' setting, my Huawei Sonic U8650(Android 2.3.5 version) phone restarts. I wonder how could I access the Google play application in order to download app from Google play.

Did you complete the set-up on your phone, unless your using a custom rom Google apps should be pre-installed.
