I would like to share with you a free smart alarm clock / sleep tracker app that will try to wake you up in the best moment in the morning and improve the quality of your sleep.
Unlike other similar sleep-tracking apps like Sleep Time or Sleep as Android, which use the accelerometer to track your sleep, with this app you do not have to keep the phone on your bed or under your pillow while you are sleeping. Instead this app uses your phone’s microphone to monitor the smallest changes in the sound levels around it and tracks your sleep cycles this way. This allows you to leave your phone on your bedside table and not on your bed and still track your sleep patterns.
After waking you up, the app will show data about the duration and the quality of your sleep during the night including how much time you spent in bed and the actual sleeping duration as well as sleep efficiency percentage and a graphical representation of your sleep patterns. Historical data and statistics will also be provided in the next release of the app.
This clock also features desk dock integration that can start the alarm clock automatically when you put your phone on a dock for charging. Its user interface is clean and inspired by the ‘Metro’ design language introduced with Windows Phone 7.
