I've recently bought a cheap Android Tablet that was probably made in China.
I'm doubtful that it has specifications as indicated in the advertisement.
However, I have found it very difficult to establish the actual specifications of the device.
I have looked in various places to try to establish hardware specs for CPU and RAM.
Internal Storage>Total Space = 0.98GB
but then further down the screen shows
Internal Storage = Total Space = 5.04GB
Why the two entries?
The only hardware info under System>About Equipment shows:
Hardware Version = BCL.a.aaa.aa.b00
Settings does not show CPU speed or RAM
I installed Android System Info App
External storage max = 5.04 GB
Total RAM: 353MB
Processor ARMv7 Processor rev 2 (v71)
-Frequency range 60.0 - 1008.0 MHz
I also installed Terminal Emulator App
cat proc/meminfo shows:
MemTotal 361912 kB
cat proc/cpuinfo shows:
-ARMv7 Processor rev 2 (v71)
The device was advertised as having a 1.5 GHz CPU and 1 Gig of Ram.
It fairly obviously doesn't have those specs but how can I be certain about what it actually is with all this
How can I establish with certainty what the CPU speed and RAM is?
