The Best app which I run on my DroidTV MK809II for Flat TV Screen is XBMC. With this one you are able to enjoy movies, tv shows, live sports and much more without subscriptions.
Not Only is the XBMC perform great on my MK809 device, but also on Nexus 7 and you are welcome to test it on other android gadgets.

My daily use app, Swipe Search.
It's a search tool supports Google/ Yahoo/ Bing/Amazon and Wiki search engine.
Most search activity can be done by voice, click at history/suggestion, swipe to select search engine and swipe to browse search results.

As a social addict I have to say Ubersocial. A very good replacement for the standard Twitter app. I also run my own blog at androidninja82 so the Wordpress app is a must have for me. And far as games go I think simple games are best on mobiles so of course Angry Birds, Temple Run etc

My bestest one is "Beach Buggy Blitz". And runs good on my Galaxy Ace. Just try downloading it it's an amazing adventure game. I am not sure whether it would work on yours or not but you may try yourself.
