AutomateIt provides a default set of useful rules to get you started:
Low battery warning
Quiet at night
Normal sound mode at morning
Max volume when headset unplugged
Lower volume when headset plugged
Unmute by SMS
Triggers:
• Any SMS Trigger - Triggers on SMS received
• SMS With Text Trigger - Triggers on receipt of SMS Message with a specific text
• Battery Level Trigger - Triggers on a defined battery level
• Bluetooth State Enabled/Disabled
• Bluetooth Device Connected - Any device or specific device
• Incoming/Hang Call - Any call or from a specific contact
• Headset Plugged/Unplugged Trigger
• Location Trigger - Arriving/Exiting a defined region
• External Power Connected/Disconnected
• Screen On/Off
• Wi-Fi Enabled/Disabled
• Connected to Wi-Fi network - Any network or a specific network
• Time Trigger - recurring time events
• Background data settings changed - enabling or disabling the background data setting

• Outgoing call - all calls or calling specific contact

• Boot Trigger - triggers on device startup (assuming service starts on boot)
• Manual Trigger - Requires user explicit execution of this trigger
• Cell ID Trigger - Trigger when connecting or disconnecting from defined cellular cells
• NFC Trigger - use NFC tags to launch rules
• Weather Trigger - Monitor weather at your location
• Mobile Data State Trigger
• Activity Recognition - an EXPERIMENTAL trigger that detects when you are in a car, on a bicycle, on foot or standing still

Still buggy Airplane mode still doesn't work on Android 4.2 I'm not going to buy this until that is fixed. as of may 6th, the issue still persists

More options needed I want to be able to access more possible actions - the variety of options within the settings on the phone (e.g. asking phone to stay awake when plugged in), but doesn't appear to be available in the free one. Not even sure if it would be there in the paid one. Also needs GPS on/off as an action rather than just a trigger.

Great App (Nexus 7) Automations work great on my tablet, my only complaint is that the sound notifications you automate will be cut off if a background app runs as well. I was trying to add a 5sec boot up sound effect and it would always cut off before completing

Love it! It took me a while to get used to setting up new rules, but now I'm always trying to see how much fun i can get out of these things. Like when i return home, my music stops, wifi turns on and gps goes off. I even use the TTS for a little fun factor. Some actions i wish you had was, widget activations, or simply a WOL option. Maybe a voice recognizer for question such as. "Welcome home, Shall i activate WOL?" and the ability to say yes or no with a headset. And an option to read out the current weather with the TTS, eg, wake up with an alarm and it reads out the weather for the day. But other then that, I would recommend this app to anyone

Useful app but... This is an excellent app and highly useful but one more feature would make it perfect. It would be nice to have a trigger based on time intervals. For example, every 30 minutes mobile data turns on for a couple of minutes to perform sync and then shuts off again.. Other than that, no complaints.. Much simpler to use than tasker. If you could add the requested feature, I will knock it up to 5 stars.. Thank you and keep up the great work..
