Carango needs two FULL refueling in order to calculate the fuel consumption in the period. They don't need to be necessarily consecutive.
This behavior is necessary to guarantee the accuracy in the consumption average.

Requires entries into fields like mileage, gas tank size and costs. I dont want to be forced to enter that info for it to accept the entry. Developer refuses to change it despite repeated requests to do so.

Well done, but... Good app but doesn't give you the option of selecting that you missed entering a fill-up (which of course, throws off all calculations).

Works great! I love to be able to easily track total car expenses and graphics out the numbers without having to export to csv and import somewhere else.
