OMG I've needed this! Thank you so much for this app. I used to constantly forget to take my phone off silent mode. Now I don't have to worry about it. I go into a meeting or a film and set the timer, and when its done my phone goes back to normal mode. Woohoo!

Works perfectly on Galaxy Note II - just the job! Having changed handset from a Nokia N8 to a Galaxy Note II I was disappointed to discover Android doesn't have a 'built in' option to change phone status (silent, normal, etc.) for a specific time (e.g. until 6.30 following morning) - like the Nokia had. This little app is just what I am looking for and works a treat.

No landscape mode Not great for a tablet... when docked with my Transformer keypad I have to tilt my neck or rotate the whole unit to be able to use the app. Needs to be orientation sensitive. Trying a different app.

Screen readability The app works great. While the pull-down notification lines about the remaining time were easy to read on my LG 500 phone, it's nearly black-in-black on my Samsung Galaxy S2, and next to impossible to read.

The silent mode timer This app is simply awesome for silencing your phone a period of time. Like when you need to go into an appointment, movie, or a class. Very easy-to-use.

Very handy I especially like the widget. It is very convenient for quickly setting a timer for silent mode.
