Description
SnoreRecorder is a intelligent recorder to record only loud sound beyond the user's setting level.Although I named this application "SnoreRecorder", it is a PCM recorder which can be used for various uses, such as somniloquy recording and a voice memo.
Please consider other uses by yourself, if interested.
Features
1.This can record only the sound beyond the pre-setting level for recording .
Since a silent portion is cut and only an audible portion is recorded, very efficient recording can be performed.
For example, after a recording start, "Zzz", 10Sec-silent, "Zz", 3Min-silent, "Zzzz", 2Hour-silent, "Zzzzzz", 3Sec-silent, "Zz", 1Hour-silent ,and then stop record ,recording data becomes "ZzzZzZzzzZzzzzzZz".
Therefore, data size can be very small, and also checking work can be managed in a short time.
2.Pre-recording and Post-recording are possible.
For example, as consonant sound "s" or "h" is a small sound which does not usually reach to the setting level,
"Stop" becomes "Top!", and "harry up!" becomes "Arry up".
In order to avoid this trouble, the "Pre-recording function" to record from the portion just before the portion of sound detection, was added.
Moreover, because of the deletion of silent portion, "I can't go there." becomes "I cago there.", and "bad day" becomes "baday"..
In order to prevent this, the "Post-recording function" to record from the end of an audible portion to the next portion for a while , was added.
3. Since recording is performed in the background, other applications except recording can be performed in the foreground.
Moreover, since recording continues also in the state of screen off, there is little battery consumption.
4.The number of files is one.
Irrespective of the number of times of the snore or somniloquy in a series of recording from start to stop, the number of WAV files is one, so its management is very easy.
5.Recording data is a WAV file.
The recorded sound is saved on SD card as a usual WAV form, and can be attached to e-mail.
Of course, you can also get from SD card directly.
Recording data is saved at the 'SnoreRec' folder of SD card.
6.the recording time is displayed. (only the Pro version)
The recording time of the recorded sound is displayed in real time at WAV file playback.
That is, you can see WHEN and what kind of snore or somniloquy is emitted.
* In purchase of the Pro version, please check the operation of the free version first.
* The data recorded with the free version can be used with the Pro version.
A time display is also possible.
* By setting up a suitable recording level, net recording times will be several minutes for snore recording time of about 7 hours.
* All will be recorded if a recording level is set to 0.That is, it becomes the same as the usual PCM recorder.
In addition, the application which can be used for the temporary judging of sleep apnea syndrome as a "sister product" of this application is under preparation.
The screenshot 4 and 5 have actually been obtained by cooperation of the patient of staunch sleep apnea syndrome.
You can see the clear difference between a simple snore and sleep apnea.
Public presentation is planned about this application in a near future.
