Toporama Maps Canada: These are the most recent topographic maps of Canada. Can be enhanced with hillshading overlay.
Topomaps Canada: These maps contain many small pathes and 4WD tracks that are missing in Toporama, Google, Bing and OSM maps. This layer is essential for real outdoor and offroad trips in Canada. Seamless mosaic of more than 13.000 collar clipped 1:50.000 maps.

Best app for hiking. Clearly the best application for hiking. Keep the good work. It would be nice to be able to upload tracks directly in Google Maps.

The best by far As an avid outdoors man, GPS apps have become more than a novelty. I have spent way too much money searching for a decent app on Android and iOS and this app is the best by far! Save yourself the time and money and get it now! A beautiful interface that is a joy to use in the field. Fast, accurate.

Very poor Doesn't really work on Samsung nexus very slow and crashes regularly not a good navigation referance back to the Soviet program which does work.

Excellent This is the best mapping app I have found for backcountry use in Canada. The choice of maps is excellent. The interface is simple and functional. The free version works well too, but the paid version is worth it for the offline capabilities.

WOW! I was searching for an app I can use offline for backcountry exploring. After going through backcountry navigator and the trimble offerings, I have to say this one KICKS THEIR BUTT. The maps are better, the interface is better, the feedback from the download is better, it's just all better. Also I'm not sure why they say 'canada top maps', because it includes the US as well.. and maybe others, I haven't looked. Actually they should rename this app because it does it all and the name would lead you to believe it's just a map.
