No context for translations! I bought this app to help me communicate in Germany on a business trip. Unfortunately despite the polished interface the app is actually useless for finding words. This is because there is zero context as to the use of each translation. For example, "receipt" has about a dozen different meanings and I had no clue which one was used to refer to a proof of purchase. A short explanation or example for each translation for words that have more than one meaning is sorely needed.

Functional and attractive I really like the way the words are displayed. The translations include the gender, which is important, and surprisingly omitted from some other dictionaries. I wish we could export our favorites to a text file for study, but I haven't played with the widget yet that I hear can display the favorites, too.

Recommendation Love the feature that you can display your favorite words in the widget. Great app the best I've had so far.

Ok but Uses google languages for translating phrases so needs a data connection when roaming rendering it a chocolate tea pot
