Your favorite app, 'Comic Reader' is now open sourced! Grab its source-code from the following location on github:https://github.com/applications4android/ComicReader
An all-in-one free and ad-free comic strip reader for android phones.
You can read ~400 of the most famous comics including Dilbert, Xkcd, Abstruse Goose, Geek and Poke, Calvin and Hobbes, PhD Comics, Pickles, Garfield, Spiked Math and many more! You need to have a sd card on the phone as Comic Reader won't run on a mobile without sd card.
TIPS and TRICKS:
0. In case app force closes at adding comics, uninstall it, delete /mnt/sdcard/ComicReader directory and reinstall app.
1. If something is still not working for you, please do not under-rate us. Instead refer to our FAQs at http://applications4android.blogspot.in/2012/02/version-2020-faqs.html
2. If you are planning to use background sync, PLEASE DO NOT PUT ComicReader IN THE AUTO-KILL-LIST OF TASK-KILLER APPS.
3. You don't have to 'Clear Cache' everytime to sync to latest comics.

1. If you do not find any of your favorite comics, please file an issue using: https://github.com/applications4android/ComicReader/issues link.
2. If there is any error reported, please send us the bug report when prompted by the alert message box and we will get into it as soon as possible.

Much slower now. lot longer to get each day's comic. No longer has description of each comic so harder to discover new comics to read. Good variety

Fav comics aren't updating! Every since the update that changed the list red, I have not been able to get updated comics. they are stuck on march 15th

Sad Just doesn't work anymore... This used to be great, now it's plagued by issues.

Won't work anymore Used to work great until two days ago when everything disappeared. Uninstalled and re-installed, but it force closes when I try to add comics. Really miss being able to use it.

Doesnt work Comics occasionally load but usually not.

Was a great app... ... until a few weeks ago, when it suddenly stopped updating the cartoons. The faq didn't help. Please, fix it and all my 5 stars are yours. Gabor. PS: that's down to taste, but this red design is... well, not too good, IMHO :(

Doesn't update Doesn't update unless you clear cache on each individual comic. Shame. I've had this app for years with no problems.

Resource Hog Was great, now will suckered down bandwidth like nothing else. This app alone accounted for over 30% of my download bandwidth! Beware!
