If you forget to mute your phone and it rings or chimes during important meetings or wakes you up at night, this program is for you. Enable Calendar check and Night mode, and forget about having to play with volume control to silence your phone. In addition to disabling the ringer, it also suppresses other audible notifications during the quiet time.To configure meetings that you want the phone to be quiet for, put "quiet", "mute" or "silent" in the meeting description or title, or mark it Busy. Meetings marked as Available will not be silenced.
Enable Repeated calls option and if there is an emergency and someone calls in you twice within a few minutes the phone will ring.
Whitelist favorite group of contacts to allow their calls to ring. If you don't see any groups besides Everyone and Nobody make sure you have them configured in your contacts.
This app works with Google calendar and Google contacts. If you use other providers like Microsoft ActiveSync instead of Google, it may not work as expected.
Note that if you have a task killer app installed on your device, add BuzzOff to the list of exceptions. Also, make sure you don't have other apps that manipulate the speaker running at the same time.
