In order to avoid any "D’OH" moments Location Reminder Alarm reminds you of pre-programmed things. For instance, if you’re on your way home and want to be sure to remember something you can make a new reminder and set the perimeter in which the alarm for the reminder should go off. From then on you will receive the same reminder every time you step foot inside the perimeter.
There’s a "Home" tab into which you have to enter the following information:
• Alarm name
• Description of alarm
• Alarm radius to the location ((0,5 km - 9,5 km)
• Location memory
I couldn’t quite figure out why the app absolutely needs a description for every reminder.
Setting the reminder location is done using Google Maps. You can use the search function to look up streets and other places—and that’s about all the search function is good for. Try punching in keywords such as “mechanic London” and the results will be zilch. Very precise details are required. Once you’ve set a new alarm you can always deactivate should you not be requiring it at the moment.
Click on the "Map" tab to see all of your alarms displayed on a map. You have to go via Home to set up a new alarm, unfortunately. Another unfortunate detail is that the display for setting an alarm is identical to the one for creating a reminder.
You can pick which alarm sounds should be used under Settings. When you click on logout you can fill out a feedback sheet and decide if you want to end the app or the entire background process. Be careful here: if you opt for stopping everything reminders will no longer appear.
Advantages
• Reminders are set off according to location
• Places you’ve been to can be seen on rttraffic.com
Drawbacks
• You have to register using your email address
• Controls are somewhat tricky
• Annoying reminders to switch GPS on
• Login required every time you start up your Android
• Places you’ve been to can be seen on rttraffic.com
Bottom line:
Good idea, not such a good app. Being reminded of things according to location can be really advantageous in many situations, and even though the reminders themselves work nicely configuring all the reminders is a bit of a hassle. The fact that you have to write a description for every reminder gets to feel really old after a while. Furthermore, you have to register prior to being able to use the app, and you also have to login again every time you fire up your Android. The developer has mentioned that he might get rid of this feature in the FAQs, provided enough users feel this to be advantageous. Ah, okay then... Whenever GPS becomes inactive for a few minutes an annoying reminder pops up to inform you of this. Being able to keep track of places you’ve been to via the rttraffi.com website can be useful on the one hand, but on the other you’re running the risk of allowing a website to compile precise profile of your wanderings—and switching this function off isn’t an option.

Dumb - registration is mandatory Great idea but why do I have to register before using the app? Makes no sense... Uninstalled because I don't want to register! Fix that, please...

Poor. Needs a lot of work. Not enough configuration options, not able to narrow alarm radius down enough, takes up space in notification bar and worst of all, when setting reminder sound, it continues playing over and over (it's still going now, uninstalling I'm hopes of shutting it up. Good idea though, I'll check back in a few months.

Worked, but needs improving This app only accepts GPS positions. It should work with network position as well. And why the need to register for an online service? Why can't it just work on it's own? It doesn't show the current distance to the points either. But I tested it and it worked. Anyway, I'm not keeping it because it's GPS-only, which uses too much battery.

Irritating, pointless registration, poorly implemented.
