This app is actually identical to the new app in every aspect except the name, and will continue to be updated at the same time as the new version. We changed it because the package ID of the old app was based on the outsourcing company that made the original (and very buggy) version of the nciku dictionary, and this can’t be changed even though the app has been completely rewritten.
NOTES:
- You will have to re-download the dictionary data after installing this update. This is a very large file (>100MB) so please connect to WiFi before updating
- Unless you re-download the data file, the updates don't delete the words in 'My Viewed Words'.

Waste of money. It's very glitchy. It stacks all the time. I cannot make it work properly. Please fix it!

Great!! Animations are fuzzy on my large screen skyrocket. Other than that perrrfect! Love the site and app.

Worse than their free app and web page. There are better alternatives. Not recommended. With such a great web page, even if it's a bit slow, surprising that they produce such a crap app.

nciku This would be a very helpful app if it would just work as described. It shows no pinyin spelling or pronunciation as I enter English words.

Super handy I used this app like a fiend while in Taiwan. Definitely got my moneys worth out of it.

Had no problem with crashes/bugs. Fast, responsive and excellent dictionary (better than CEDICT based ones). Recommended.
