so far very good Bought the pro version after spending about one minute with the demo version for new Samsung Xcover 5690, a smart phone that is likely smarter than I am. Good choice. BN Pro easily acquired and loaded NOAA nav charts from its internal menu for this area very quickly. Charts pan effortlessly. Takes a while to refresh in changing scales likely a fxn of processor speed and the raster file. GPS locked on satellites in less than two minutes, about the same as my eTrex Vista Hcx. The view of statisitics, time, distance, elevation etc. has the basics well set forth. Also include max slop encountered, starting and mx elevation. Neat. Plan to compare it for accuracy with the eTrex and Rino 130 on the same bike loop. Even though it seems to lack velocity made good (something small boat sailors fret about) ,the very fair price and map availability made this one a no brainer for my use on water and land. Still and yet, I carry paper maps and charts and a solid magnetic compass for backup. They do not depend on batteries.

Marks waypoiñts just fine Use this every day at my job. Replaced a $2500 hand held ArcGIS device. Better accuracy and way more reliable. Sorry Steve maybe next time take the tutorial...

Wont mark waypoints This program does not work like they say. It won't mark waypoints. Also says it can mark target waypoint. But they lie!. Rip off!
