This is a Skype companion app, YOU NEED SKYPE INSTALLED in order for this app to work...
I do no work for Skype, The only connection I have with Skype is that I am a user of Skype's Services just like you. If you have a problem with the Skype Application then you need to contact Skype as I can not help you.
If you need to install Skype and you can not find it in the market for what ever reason then check.

If your getting "no connection to internet found" message disable the internet check, its a bug in android and so I put the option to disable the check if needed. I am planning to change the "Internet Check" in V2
Work continues on V2. Its just Real Life work has gotten in the way. Its coming though :-)

In a recent update Skype removed the option to auto sign into Skype on device boot. I tried to ask Skype if this was a permanent change or just a bug and got a "Thanks for the feature request" canned response so I decided to fix the issue myself. I understand Skype's reason for this, but I also like the feature hence this application exists.
Originally built for my own usage in about an hour but others seemed to be in the same boat as me, So I tidied up the app A LOT... Any problems feel free to email me at apps@crosseyejack.com
How to use:
Download and install Skype
Sign in and in Skype Setting enable "Auto Sign In". This will let Skype auto sign in on launch.
Download, install and run this app, Tick "Launch Skype on Boot" and set the delay to call home afterwards (Setting too low can cause Skype not to sign in - I will improve detection in the next version), Press Home and forget about it.
For 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 devices the app will do its thing once its installed, but for 3.0+ devices you will need to open the app at least once before it will start Skype on boot.
Please keep this App on your phone main storage and not the SD Card else the app can not start Skype. App is set to install onto internal memory but mods like CyanogenMod can override this.
Depending on your Android version and Skype's install location the app will try and launch Skype in different ways. Hopefully these methods will get Skype to launch for you.
App uses BOOT_COMPLETE to wake on device boot, then starts the Skype app, waits a few seconds then returns to the home screen.
App Uses INTERNET Permissions for the error reporting tool and ads.

Must have app for Skype Please give this dev his credit. He figured out what to do when others said it "couldnt be done". I donated and got a validation code that got rid of the ads. If you have a problem receiving the code, email him.

Skype fans, i feel sorry for you guys. This is another good app to help Skype. But please just stop helping skype, they should learn how to improve it instead of ruin it!

Problem The app works it's just that the skype app dosen't realy work with it it always says "skype stopped working sign in or exit" i don't get it am i doing something wrong?
