Description
GPS Doctor is a troubleshooting/diagnostic program for GPS systems in Android devices. If your phone is taking longer than it should to get a satellite fix, can't get a fix at all, or is giving you GPS errors, GPS Doctor should be able to help. To use, simply run the "Quick Fix" option (or the manual options) before attempting to use Google Maps (or any other GPS software). Your fixes should come faster and be more accurate.GPS Doctor works by clearing stale cached values that can mislead your GPS chip as it searches for your location, then injecting the correct values into the chip using data downloaded from NTP and XTRA servers.
The "Quick Fix" option is available to automatically diagnose and correct many common GPS issues. Manual fix options are also available, including: forcing XTRA injection, forcing time injection, and clearing aiding data (all, almanac, ephemeris, time, position, UTC, ionospheric, health, SV Dir, SV Steer, SA, RTI, and CellDBInfo).
This app has been tested an verified to work on the Galaxy S line of phones as well as many HTC and Motorola devices. It is generic enough that it should work on EVERY available phone now. GPS Doctor is constantly improving, so please provide feedback if you use this app on another device.

sucks all it does is clear the stats and still does not get accurate data. SGS Cynogenmod 9.

Razr Maxx Amazing! After the ICS update GPS was quite slow. After applying the quick fix I now get location fixes in seconds instead of sometimes minutes. Fixes slowed a little after the first time i ran it. 3 days later I reapplied and it's faster than ever. GPS fix in google maps is almost instant now.

Awesome Fixed my very long GPS lock times. Tried other apps but they weren't helpful and didn't solve the problem.

Wow! It actually worked! My gps could never find a signal and now its works perfectly!

Wow, IT WORKS! My gps worked extremely well on my Razr Maxx before I loaded ICS. After that it was painfully slow. Took forever, sometimes 10+ minutes! So I found this app when I was goggling around for solutions and ran it and the GPS is good as new, maybe even better! All I had to do was the automatic fix. Its a good thing as I have no idea how to use the options in the manual mode and have no idea what they even mean. Thanks for solving this agonizing problem folks. 3 other family members are dealing with this same issue on the same phone after ICS. They'll all be downloading it in the morning!
