Description
Encryption Manager is a file manager, that offers a comfortable and secure way to keep files with confidential data encrypted using AES encryption on the SD card.A master password is both used to access the application and to encrypt the encryption keys, that are generated random for each file, that is managed by Encryption Manager. Confidential files are accessible directly after the login. With one click on the file, the file is decrypted to its original location and can be shown by the installed viewer or editor apps. When you are finished working with the decrypted copy, the file is re-encrypted with one click and the decrypted file is wiped from the SD card. This wipe process will overwrite the data with random bytes before the file is deleted. So even if the device is lost or stolen, it is not possible to access your confidential data.
Encrypting new files is very simple: they can be chosen either with the built-in file manager or by simply using "send/share" from another app.

Very professional. Knows his stuff. Solid app Very functional,good interface and working well on my Samsung Galaxy S2. I had several correspondences with the developer (Hans Schuell) discussing the encryption methodology he uses with this app. Hans knows his stuff and was very patient with all my questions and took the effort to explain everything clearly and in-depth. Incidentally, there is a very detailed Help file you can access in the app that is well-written, useful and informative. Just upgraded to his latest version 2.4.

Awesome Excellent App however i am filtering jpg but it doesn't filter jpeg files. Can you add that ext on next update.

Great on Droid X, doesn't work on Nexus S Couldn't find an email address, so I'm posting this here. I LOVED this app on my Droid X, but the market won't allow me to install it on my Nexus S running Android 2.3.4.

Great app. Interfaces nicely with other apps with file IO. Detailed explanation in Help section. Strong crypto and good design.

Easy to use and seems effective. Have used to encrypt documents and scan of passport for holiday. Would like alphanumeric code and folder encryption.
