Battery Tip: To save battery life, under App Settings set "GPS Live on Auto-Lock" to OFF. By doing this you should have no issues with battery life on the course.
The application has access to the following:
Your location
coarse (network-based) location
Access coarse location sources such as the cellular network database to determine an approximate phone location, where available. Malicious applications can use this to determine approximately where you are.
fine (GPS) location
Access fine location sources such as the Global Positioning System on the phone, where available. Malicious applications can use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power.
Network communication
view network state
Allows an application to view the state of all networks.
view Wi-Fi state
Allows an application to view the information about the state of Wi-Fi.
full Internet access
Allows an application to create network sockets.
System tools
change Wi-Fi state
Allows an application to connect to and disconnect from Wi-Fi access points, and to make changes to configured Wi-Fi networks.
modify global system settings
Allows an application to modify the systemʼs settings data. Malicious applications can corrupt your systemʼs configuration.
retrieve running applications
Allows application to retrieve information about currently and recently running tasks. May allow malicious applications to discover private information about other applications.
automatically start at boot
Allows an application to have itself started as soon as the system has finished booting. This can make it take longer to start the phone and allow the application to slow down overall performance of the phone by constantly running.
Phone calls
read phone state and identity
Allows the application to access the phone features of the device. An application with this permission can determine the phone number and serial number of this phone, whether a call is active, the number that call is connected to, ect.
Your personal information
read contact data
Allows an application to read all of the contact (address) data stored on your phone. Malicious applications can use this to send your data to other people.

control vibrator
Allows the application to control the vibrator.

Allows application to send SMS messages. Malicious applications may cost you money by sending messages without your confirmation.

battery life I uninstalled and reinstalled da app and my yardage read outs are much better, may help others with any yardage issues. Also found out under the set defaults option if u turn auto-lock on will help conserve battery life,as well as locking my screen in between shots......all in all great app

Why my contact info? The new update wants access to one's contact list. This has NOTHING to do with functionality, and everything to do with relinquishing privacy. Until they change that, I'll not be updating their product.

Won't recognize GPS Great app when I used it before, however, with the razr golf logix won't recognize GPS. And yes GPS is on

Getting better But battery life still poor because app still pings gps when screen is off. Fix for 5 Stars

No customer service - unauthorized credit card charge Used golflogix 3 years ago and paid for a years subscription. Discovered this year they had auto-charged me for a second year. I sent an email (there is no phone numbers you can call), and asking for some credit, but no response. Finally decided to try free trial, instead it found old account. I emailed them explicitly telling them don't charge me. No response and they charged me. Had to call visa to issue a stop payment. Use Oobgolf or Golfshot instead.

Developed issues Now for some reasons yardages are off on holes that were once spot on, overhead locations now show my location and the location of the green what would be in the trees and in the rough, when you use the measure your shot feature it stores the yardage 10 to 20 yards shorter, seems like they rushed this version ,without including the user friendly features of the old version. This version has the potential of being a really good app, they just need to fix the major bugs .

No galaxy nexus Doesn't work on galaxy nexus. Says the GPS is off no matter what. Ics nor the phone is new any more...

Recent update I was disappointed with the most recent update, the claim was for better battery life and it was way worse!
