Description
GPS Tape Measure estimates the straight line distance from point 1 to point 2. Simple and easy to use. Just click the button at Point 1 and then go to Point 2 to see the distance between. Not intended for measuring small distances (under 50m or so). GPS is only accurate to within several meters. Outdoor use only. GPS does not work well indoors.Uses include:
Golf – From what distance did he make that hole in two?
Baseball – Was that far enough for a home run?
Hunting – How far out did you get that deer?
Uses do not include:
How long is my car?
How long is my house?

If you want to measure very long distances, GPS Tape Measure also accounts for the curvature of the Earth.

Never worked on DROID X Always said no GPS signal even though all other apps that required it worked

You need a good GPS signal This app easily measures outdoor distances. My first use was indoors and it said I moved 67 feet while standing still.

Very useful This app is great. I'm not sure why it has bad reviews...stupid users I suppose. It does what it says it does. I use it several times a day for work
