Description
** Requires Tasker (or Locale), Root AND Read/Write permissions on the /system partition **Have a keyboard that you like for one app but not another? This app is actually a plugin for Tasker or Locale that, when triggered, will set your software keyboard to the selected input method.
Essentially, if you have a keyboard you like for sending texts, another for browsing the net and a third for something more complex like ConnectBot, one can setup profiles that detect those apps and change the keyboard to your favorite.
Alternatively, one could switch between two keyboards depending on the screen orientation, the time of day, or anything else that Tasker can detect.

Great on Galaxy Nexus Works perfectly fine on my Galaxy Nexus. I use it to swap to Hacker's Keyboard for GMote and SwiftKey 3 beta for anything else. Thanks for the plugin :).

fantastic on galaxy note (sgh i717) using android 2.3.6 and this is really useful given the multitude of awesome keyboards out there. this (using tasker) allows me to always utilize the most useful one depending on the situation - completely automatically. thanks and great work!

doesn't work on Galaxy Note worked on previous devices, but on Galaxy Note it won't work when entering the task's conditioned state. I have to manually select the null keyboard. When I exit the task's state, it resets the keyboard properly, but it's useless on my present device. Developer didn't respond to email.

amazing! Now Tasker will switch to the big, tap-style HTC keyboard when the phone enters car mode, and back to Slide IT on exit!

Works, but slowly. Takes about 10 seconds to switch the keyboards for me, causing some difficulty. Developer was fast to respond though.

Exactly what I needed! No more clicking on the keyboard selector to switch to Null Keyboard every time I connect my bluetooth keyboard to my LTE Tab. Hooray!
