Very nice app! I use this in conjunction with DoggCatcher to watch video podcasts because I like the option of being able to continue listening to the podcast in the background while doing other things such as answering text messages, checking e-mail, or browsing the internet. Since there was no way to do that with the default video app, Act 1 was the perfect solution. I only gave it 4 stars because I've run into a few glitches here and there, but for the most part, it is a wonderful app.

Best music video player!!! As of June 2012 this is the only player that will play music videos from your sd card that will also make a play list. It's a very very good video player, but it could use some polishing tho. If it saved the play list for quick future use and a better search feature it would be 5 star.

Excellent. Feature rich. Very customizable. Definitely plays avi files. Most of my vids are in avi format. It's played every format I've thrown at it. No problem. Best video player on the market. See hollywoodfrodo's review on Youtube. I'd like to see an update to the UI, make it look a bit more up to date. But it's perfect, with all it's features it beats any other in the market. Definitely beats mVideo Player Pro, this one does more than it ever could.

"Resume on Play" always on Yes, Gregg, this occurs when I open the videos from a separate app. Is there any way that Act 1 can be enhanced to also make _this_ type of "Resume on Play" optional (i.e., controllable via a preference setting)?

Very Limited Formats Though this Video Player has great Features. It's very limited when it comes to playing Formats. So if u want a Video Player that'll play vast Torrent App Files,Etc.. Then I suggest MX Player. It also fully expands to fit the entire screen like this one does. However, not only that, as an asset! MX Player also; plays any Format that I've thrown at it! It has the most 5 stars: Over Mobo,QQ,Act 1,ETC; All combined together by far! Go see for yourself! But(Act 1 is ok for very basic files)

Great player! I bought it for it's bookmarking capabilities for podcasts. I do have a couple of requests though. I would like to see an option to make the top half of the screen add a bookmark and the bottom of the screen play/pause. Also if you could add an option to have larger line items in folder view, that would be great. I really love this app and as an iOS convert I missed my podcast bookmarking app. This one has the potential to be WAY better than my old iOS app. Thanks again for a great app.
