MTD Bus Times

Nonfunctional search Map works well enough, but search-by-name doesn't: it offers an input box with no Go button, nor any other way to search for the specified stop, unless your entry is (apparently) an exact prefix for a name in the database. Try "state and hessel" or "goodwin and clark", for example. Then try same on cumtd.com. Map search isn't sufficient to find all stops: there's no mapped stop for Illinois Terminal, for example, only its Platform C. This app could be valuable if search were usable.

The best, but not as good as it could be. I rely heavily on this app. It is really well designed and the developer has done a great job making it useful and simple. The CU Bus Times app has earned the first spot on my phone's homescreen. I only gave it three stars because I am a nit-picker. There are a few ways that I think this app could be drastically improved. Push notifications for when a bus is x minutes away from a stop would be great. If the app was redesigned to follow Google's design guidelines, it would look cleaner and simpler. It would also have the ability to swipe between tabs. The app should also have a solution to the crash that occurs when you try to look up bus times when there is no internet connection. Finally, I would love to see an icon change. The CUMTD buses are anything but rocket-like. A simpler looking icon would look great on my home screen.
