The application has access to the following:

Access fine location sources such as the Global Positioning System on the phone, where available. Malicious applications can use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power.

Allows the application to control the vibrator.

automatically start at boot
Allows an application to have itself started as soon as the system has finished booting. This can make it take longer to start the phone and allow the application to slow down overall performance of the phone by constantly running.
prevent phone from sleeping
Allows an application to prevent the phone from going to sleep.
Your personal information
read contact data
Allows an application to read all of the contact (address) data stored on your phone. Malicious applications can use this to send your data to other people.

Can't get it to recognize anything Tried with gps and 3g. It still won't give a reminder. Would be really cool if it worked. Atrix 4g

Let down Was excited about the app but could never get a location to set. Tried GPS and network to no avail...

Not on ICS Worked great on my old phone but will not set location on my new phone with ICS. It's a shame because I loved the program.

Excellent Would be perfect with... 1) TTS (spoken) reminders 2) the option to mark up locations and notes on a pc using Google Maps. 3) different colours... Some dialog boxes are unreadable for the 10% of the male population who are colour-blind.

works, but always late notifications appeared 15-30 minutes after i got to the destination, so it was never really helpful... but will become a really cool utility once this is resolved

Location screen did NOTHING.... Locked GPS in 3 seconds, let app sit for 10 mins with locked on GPS and the screen stayed blank, asking me to set Home to.... NOTHING! Use CATCH Notes instead, much friendlier and easier to use....

Needs fix for ICS Doesn't work on ice cream sandwich Galaxy nexus. Setting location doesn't work and that's kind of important. Worked great on my last phone.

When it works, it's great! I use GeoNote on my Droid X. Generally, I'm very happy with it. It does what it says it does as listed in the overview section here. However, there are times when I don't get an alert when I'm within the preset location's range. I've never been able to figure out why it misses sometimes. However, I recommend trying it! I like it / I use it!
