Description
Jawbone Companion for Android™ is a useful app that helps you stay on top of your schedule, battery life, and calls—all handsfree using your Jawbone headset or speaker.* Calendar Alerts: Companion whispers through your headset or speaker and reminds you about upcoming meetings and events when they're starting; it will even dial you into conference calls at the press of a button, passcode and all.
* Battery Meter: Convenient Jawbone battery indicator appears on your phone keeps you informed; at a glance, you'll always know how much battery life you have left.
* Instant Info: Press the TALK button on your headset or speaker to hear upcoming events, remaining battery life, and the current time.
* LiveAudio: Toggle LiveAudio on and off from the application or home screen widget (JAMBOX and BIG JAMBOX only).
Jawbone Companion currently supports Jawbone ERA, ICON HD, ICON, BIG JAMBOX and JAMBOX. Make sure you get the latest update from MyTALK (mytalk.jawbone.com) and enable JawboneLink™ in Advanced Settings.
Jawbone Companion v1.5 is supported on OS 4.2 & 4.1 (Jelly Bean), OS 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and OS 2.3 (Gingerbread)
Jawbone Companion v1.2.1 is available for the below listed OS 2.2 (Froyo) phones.

To hear calendar announcements with meeting titles, please make sure a TTS engine is installed by going to Settings > Voice input & output settings.
If you are using an OS 2.2 phone not on this list, some of the features of this application may not work properly.

Needs more feature It would be nice it it could control Big Jambox volume up/down as well as turn live audio on/off.

Battery hog This app uses about 50% of my battery even when i don't have my jawbone connected.

this co doesn't make anything that works I have tried both win7 and android versions of their software.... even though the hardware recognizes the jawbone icon in both cases, the sw wont install without crashing (win7) or constantly says you are not paired (android) even when the OS functions just fine with it (and the battery icon of the app will correctly sense whether the jawbone is turned on or not). waste of time

Jawbones is TOP NOTCH Great products and app! Only headset/speakerd I will own. Bad reviews are user error not the product.

Has Gotten Better, so went up to 4 Star Review Great to finally have a battery life app available for Android. Glad you took my advice (and probably the advice of others) and made the battery meter go away when not turned on (at least on Android 4.0), so thank you for that. Would still be nice to have the ability to choose to use one of the custom voices when also using Jawbone Companion by either have it work in tandem w/ custom voices, or just have option to turn off the voice that is used when using Jawbone Companion and just use custom voice.

Won't connect Installed and connected yesterday after jumping through a million hoops. Went out of range with phone. No auto reconnect and now won't connect at all. Galaxy S2

SGSII Same no luck with sync of my Icon and my SGSII I777. With the quality of handsfrees of Jawbone you expect something better working...

Worthless Will not work at all on HTC EVO 3d. Say pair device and it is but still not working
