The J4T is a 4-track recorder, great for recording your song ideas and demos.Features:

* The app doesn't work well on the Samsung Galaxy Ace, Samsung Spica, the Samsung Moment, the Motorola Triumph.
MP3 Decoding/Encoding specifics:
For mp3-import the app uses the JLayer-MP3 Library from the JLayer Project: http://www.javazoom.net/javalayer/javalayer.html.
For mp3-export the app uses LAME from the LAME Project:
http://lame.sourceforge.net/

Love it! Add an option for recording in 48khz, and I'm sold forever. My Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 shifts the pitch of all recordings other than 48khz (not J4T's issue -- phone does it in all apps), so if J4T had a 48khz option I could get the most out of it. Features are great!

Sound Distorted As stated above. Useable but very poor sound quality. Sounds like a dictaphone recorded on vinyl. Not nice!

Perfection!!! Pantech Crossover Exactly what I was looking for! If you love to make your own music, this app is like having a wavepad on your phone with fl studio quality! I'm 100% satisfied & highly recommend! It's the best app in this store period.

Its simple and to the point. Configuring the latency is a little tricky, and the small set of effects are probably the only problems in this app.
